Simple Cod Liver Sandwiches | Recipe |




The simplest lean sandwiches with cod liver will help to make your holiday table more delicious, satisfying and bright!

Cod liver oil can be used to make salads and sandwiches. I want to offer you one of the options for cod liver sandwiches, in my opinion, the most successful. This recipe often helps me out, especially on holidays, as sandwiches are prepared quickly, but they sell even faster, and everyone is happy! :)

 Ingredients:

  • Bread - 180 g
  • Canned cod liver - 160 g
  • Sunflower oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh dill for decoration - to taste 

Note:

  • 20 min to get ready


Step by step recipe :

  • So, prepare the cod liver, bread, sunflower oil, tomato and dill, and salt. Cut the bread into triangles. 
  • Fry the bread in sunflower oil on both sides, not too much, until lightly browned. Mash the cod liver, after draining part of the oil, we do not need all of it so that the filling does not turn out to be too greasy and liquid. Wash the tomato and cut it into thin slices. 
  • Toast the bread and cut the tomato. 
  • Spread cod liver on one side of toasted bread slices and place on a platter. 
  • On each sandwich, put a slice of tomato, sprinkle with a little salt. 
  • Garnish the sandwiches with fresh dill.
