Recipe of Creamy Chicken ( مرغ ملائی) | Desi recipe |
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Chicken
- salt to taste,
- 1 tablespoon crushed ginger garlic,
- 2 medium onions,
- 1 cup yogurt,
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper,
- 1 teaspoon roasted coriander,
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon of crushed hot spices,
- 1 teaspoon of Kasuri methi,
- half a cup of fresh cream,
- green coriander custom,
- 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter,
- 2 tablespoons of oil
Method:
- Wash the chicken, put it in a sieve and dry it. Heat margarine or butter in oil in a pan.
- Add finely chopped onion and chopped green chillies and fry. When onion is soft, add ginger, garlic and chicken and fry.
- When the chicken turns golden, add yoghurt and cook over low heat. After 10 to 12 minutes, add salt and pepper and cook until the curd is dry.
- Finally, add chopped coriander, cumin seeds, hot spices in the cream, lightly beat and add to the chicken. When the gravy thickens, remove from the heat.
Presentation:
Remove to a dish, sprinkle with finely chopped coriander and serve with custom bread or prathas.
It will take you ten to fifteen minutes to prepare and forty minutes to cook. This dish is enough for 5 people.
